We thrive on the challenging projects and would love to hear from you!

What we do:

For the past forty years here in the foothills of the White Mountains of New Hampshire I have maintained a small custom cabinet shop in an old barn built by legendary local carpenter Winfield Severance Bryant behind the hand-hewn timber framed 1848 Cape Cod house I live in. My associates and I will tackle jobs large and small in a wide variety of specialties. In a small town like Sandwich, NH it is necessary to learn all aspects of carpentry and cabinetry so as to guarantee a steady income.

I will include photos on the following pages to illustrate that we really do all of the things we claim to offer to our customers.

Over the years we have done work involving basic carpentry and modern house building as well as genuine mortice and tenon timber framed houses and barns in classic designs derived from early American examples. We have extensive experience in removing rotten and/or damaged timbers from historic buildings and installing correct materials to duplicate the old, then finishing off the building with period correct windows, doors, wide pine flooring, quarter-sawn siding, etc. Extensive networking has guaranteed sources of rare and special materials. Most of my suppliers are pleased to be associated with a finer quality of work such as we offer and have always gone out of their way to supply me with very special stuff. Feel free to present a challenge for your project.

In the event that customers need custom cabinetry, we have done quite a lot of that as well. We routinely receive requests for kitchens, libraries, built-ins, sideboards, reproduction doors and windows, tables, chairs, benches, chests, Georgian panelled walls, chair rails, wainscotting, and numerous Shaker pieces at considerably less than the prices for museum pieces, but all of the authenticity just the same.

If you like what you see, please email dodgejerry@yahoo.com. If you phone 603-630-4913 the machinery will often be too loud and the earmuffs will prevent us from hearing the ring, so please leave a voicemail and I'll get back to you asap. Thanks.
